A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer applied by hand to the exterior of a vehicle. It chemically bonds with the factory paint, creating a layer of protection that is significantly harder than standard clear coat. It provides UV protection, extreme chemical resistance, and makes the car incredibly easy to wash due to its hydrophobic properties.
Absolutely. Both PPF and Ceramic Coatings are semi-permanent layers that seal the paint beneath them. If you seal over swirl marks, scratches, or water spots, they will be locked in. We highly recommend at least a single-stage paint enhancement to ensure the surface is glossy and flawless before locking it in.
Quality cannot be rushed. Standard maintenance details take a few hours, while our comprehensive correction and ceramic packages typically require the vehicle for 2 to 4 days. This allows adequate time for meticulous correction and proper infrared curing of the coatings in a controlled environment.
They serve different primary purposes. PPF (Paint Protection Film) is a thick physical barrier designed to absorb rock chips, deep scratches, and physical damage. Ceramic Coating is a chemical barrier designed for gloss, UV protection, and ease of cleaning. For ultimate protection, we install PPF on high-impact areas (bumper, hood) and Ceramic Coat the entire vehicle (including over the PPF).
